Fantastic film. Thanks for sharing this. I grew up riding and enjoying horses on our farm in Oregon. My sister still rides and jumps. Just discovered your Substack. Love it!! Where are you in Australia? I hope to visit friends in Chelsey VIC in the spring. It will be my first trip there.

Hello Susan - thank you for your comment. I am near Adelaide South Australia. My sister lives at Cherokee, VIC. Which is 2 hours from Chelsea. She has horses too. But if you ever get to South Australia, you would be welcome to visit our stud.

Thank you so much. I am going to visit a close friend from China. I met her while teaching in China in my twenties. She said to look into places in Australia we might enjoy visiting. I know it’s a very big country. Your Substack is great, and you clearly know the equestrian field. Thanks!

I think from a note Kim White had shared. She’s become a good friend here. I started writing on Substack in April of this year.

I see - that is great. Maybe you can share or recommend my Substack to your readers? I am sure there would be some horse lovers among them. (I also love dogs).

I would be glad to do so. I love dogs, too. I have an Aussie Mt Doodle who is learning to assist me as I have multiple sclerosis.

Great suggestion about one person per horse on the ground in addition to the rider.

Thank you Deb...it is vital at these types of events because you just can't get it all sorted, especially if it looks like classes will clash. It takes away the panic button.
