This was a wonderful read. I purchased my first yearling last year after developing a friendship with his breeder. Finding breeding professionals who are intentional in the ways you describe is so important, for the customer and for the horses alike. I thank you for your insights!

I like how you mentioned the importance of social interaction. This is especially important for the stallion. I’ve seen some very stressed isolated stallions pacing fences which I don’t like.

Thank you Deborah - All our horses are out in paddocks in groups of like horses where that is possible. This is essential for their social well-being.
