Jeanette, love horses 🥰. Have rescued a few in my day and my great aunt actually trained horses for the Olympics decades ago.
Horse breeding is something I've seen up close and personal just once and that was enough for me.... my goodness! 🤠

Success or what people call success, because I think it's different for everyone, but the one thing in common is consistency and developing good habits. Also finding someone that can precept or mentor that has been successful at it, especially if someone's starting out and wanting to be successful in something they haven't done before 😉
Kathleen, horses are amazing, and I agree with you, they teach us so much. We can't be successful with horses if we aren't in tune with them. Calm people have calm horses. They are amazing animals, and wonderful creatures for one's mental health.
I agree that finding a mentor is the best way to progress in anything really in life.
yes, I remember times that I was upset about something and I would have to calm myself down before I would go out into the pasture and they were so good for me. People would say my goodness you take care of them like they're a racehorse. I bought the best supplements and the best Hay and their water was always changed. I didn't do an automatic water run because I wanted to know how much water they were drinking a day. But the truth is they gave me more than I could've ever given them and I really do miss them- actually this month on the 23rd- it's been four years that I put the last one down.
